About Us

We just love the mountains. We love everything about them from the natural beauty and the challenge of the terrain to the weather and the people. We love to share our passion!
Simon and Gary first met in Tignes while working for a British Tour Operator. We had a lot of fun, did it again the following season, and subsequently ran chalets for other operators before deciding to go it alone.

Simon left school at 15 and turned to his passion of cooking. After 13 years in his trade he is a fully qualified chef and has worked among some of the finest hotels and restaurants in Brighton, serving clientele such as Jimmy Carr, Van Morrison and the Tony Blair led Labour party at their annual conference. Along the way he has had a hug with Jimmy and even a punch (in the arm) from John Prescott! During the summer Simon returns to his home turf and has recently been working for The Priory, fully testing his skills in handling dietary requirements. Simon is a passionate skier and will be most commonly be found heading smoothly down a red run.

Gary took a more corporate route and after university worked in Business Customer Relations for numerous years, among other roles, before deciding to take a new experience in the mountains. After Tignes, Meribel and Les Arcs along with Simon, I’ve spent the last 2 years in the Chamonix Valley, which is now my home. I’m a boarder by heart, but over the last two years skiing has begun to provide me with a dilemma each morning. My aim for this winter is to pick up telemarking, where I’ll commonly be found face down in snow!
