Valley Fever Service

At Valley Fever we love the mountains and we love to share the experience. After 4 winter seasons working together we try to give to you what would be our perfect day.

We’ll start the day by waking you with a brew, delivered to your bed. Our tasty continental breakfast is ready with fresh croissants and pain au chocolat, accompanied by poached eggs, porridge or maybe pancakes.

Full of fuel and ready to go, Simon or Gary can escort you to the slopes and ski with you to share our favourite spots. We’ll help you orientate yourself in the mountains, identify each snowy peak and share a chuckle or two along the way! Meanwhile the loser of paper, scissor, stone, will be back at the chalet giving your rooms a clean, making your beds and getting things ready to welcome you home.

After an amazing day skiing with excellent snow, fantastic terrain, and a backdrop to die for, our roaring fire, tea, coffee and homemade cakes will be waiting to greet you on arrival and help re-fuel your weary limbs.

With time to pass before dinner, perhaps you’ll take the 50 metre stroll to the local bars, cross the road to play in the park, or maybe relax and recuperate in our in-house sauna. We can also arrange for Jo, our local masseuse to pop by. For the little ones high tea can be served.

Just as the adult stomach starts to rumble Simon and Gary will present delicious canapés with fine wine, followed shortly by a 4-course delight, lovingly prepared by Simon (with Gary doing as he is told!). It has been known for us to join you for a glass or two during dinner!

When all is done, well fed, well wined and the washing up is no more, Simon and Gary will leave you in peace to retire, ready to do it all again tomorrow. It’s a hard life after all!


A few notes:

• Our ski hosting service requires you to be of red run ability and is available for the first 3 days of your holiday. It is not compulsory.
• Canapés are served at 7:30pm with dinner at 8pm unless requested otherwise. Childrens high tea is available at 6:30pm on request.
• We serve free flowing bottled wine until dessert is served.
• We have extensive local knowledge from living in the valley all year round and great links into local suppliers. We’ll happily share this with you and arrange any activities for you.
